Gender Bias?

Now days female are more likely to be hired into sales positions due to a corporate perception that they are more naturing, compationed and more likely to listen to other. One of the caracteristics are that female looks more appealing to customers and they are more likely to take rejection more easyly them male. Therefore, female are more likely to obtain sales positions are because male in the other hand are less approchable. The reason is because male are more agressive on a negative way when talking to a client. Male are more self-center and egotistical due to that they only focus on their profit.

what is your opinion and experience on this topic?

I think everyone has a talent. My is not in sales.

Gender is an issue in the work force, and how the sexes approach a situation is fair game. However, qualities such as a agrressiveness and assertiveness is not a monopoly held by men.

Lets take the example of the popular HBO show "Sex in the City", Samantha was sexually aggressive and Miranda was career oriented.

Remember that women in the workplace is still in its infancy although it has been over thirty years since women in the workforce has become a norm.
